I have always loved supporting people. Before joining Resonate, my career spanned across childcare, dementia care, disability support, and communications. Each experience deepened my ability to connect with people, adapt to their unique needs, and provide compassionate service to those who needed it most.

My connection to Resonate started back in December 2022, one month after they opened the Silverdale studio. I wear hearing aids and have someone who had to navigate the audiology world for the first time as a young, uninformed woman, the compassion and care I received from them made me jump at the chance to take over the Silverdale Navigator role. Getting to help people improve their quality of life by delivering the same exceptional service I received makes coming to work every day exciting and rewarding.  

I love that I’m able to meet new people every day and raise awareness. How to look after our ears isn’t something we’re taught in schools, so I love being able to share my experience with hearing loss, reassure our customers and teach them ways to be proactive about looking after their hearing health.  

Outside of work, I lead a busy life balancing work, studies, and my family of five, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. But I love to travel. Although I moved to New Zealand from Scotland eight years ago, I still feel like a tourist in my own backyard and take every chance I get to explore new places.
