Hi, I’m Tarah, the Navigator at Resonate Invercargill.

I’ve always wanted to help people, which is what first drew me to the healthcare industry. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across Intellectual Disability Support and Dementia Care, but I could never quite find my true path.

When the opportunity to join Resonate came along, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Their values of trust and transparency really reflect my own, and I love being part of a team that’s open, honest, and focused on people first. Since joining in 2023, I’ve learnt so much about audiology, met incredible people, and discovered how rewarding it is to make a real difference in someone’s life.

What I enjoy most about my role is having the time to genuinely get to know our customers, find out about their lives and build personal relationships.

I’ve also fallen in love with audiology itself, so much so that I’m now training to be an audiometrist alongside other Navigators across New Zealand. Having the opportunity to grow my skills while being supported by our team not only supports my career but also allows me to give even more back to my customers!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and my fur baby, Ellie. I’m a bit of a homebody at heart, so you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, crafting, or playing video games.
