Hey I’m Sam! I’m a born and raised Howick local, and I absolutely love coming into work each day to support my fellow East Aucklanders with their ears, hearing, and healthy ageing.

I joined the hearing health industry four years ago and fell in love with the way it blends technology and healthcare. But I quickly became disillusioned with the traditional “sales conveyor belt” model of audiology, which limits the time people have to form a genuine connection with their healthcare providers.  

My passion for connection made joining Resonate an easy choice, as I could see immediately that this was a company built on putting people first. I truly believe Resonate is the future of audiology and healthy ageing. I love how we take a holistic approach to everything we do and recognise that our ears do not function in isolation. We are whole people and hearing affects so many different parts of our health and wellbeing.

I had a real lightbulb moment when I started taking customers through our Ear360 assessments. Seeing people finally get answers to things they had never been able to explain or understand before was incredible. Helping people understand how their hearing impacts other areas of their health and wellbeing, and giving them the tools to make their own decisions about their healthy ageing journey, is the most rewarding part of what I do!

I love getting to spend time with our customers and finding ways to really improve their quality of life. I also make a pretty good coffee and I’m always happy to help whenever I can, so if you ever need anything please feel free to pop in!
