Hi, I’m Karyn, a proud Canterbury local passionate about helping people improve their quality of life through better hearing. I understand how important hearing is, not just for you, but for the people around you. I’m here to listen, support, and work with you on your hearing journey.

I discovered Audiology somewhat by chance during my time at university, where I was studying Linguistics. My interest naturally evolved into Communication Disorders, and while exploring post-graduate options that offered a clear path into a meaningful career, I came across the Audiology programme. It turned out to be the perfect fit! I find it incredibly rewarding to support not just the individual, but their entire support network, helping them reconnect and fully engage with the world around them.

Outside of work, you'll often find me exploring the stunning walking trails around Canterbury, a region I feel incredibly lucky to call home. I'm also a devoted cat lover and proudly share my life with two beautiful black cats who, truth be told, probably think they own me.
