Hi, I’m Kanav, an Audiologist with three years of experience helping people improve their hearing and quality of life.  

Before becoming a clinician, I focused on researching auditory neuroscience and completed my master’s thesis at the University of Auckland, exploring more effective ways to deliver tinnitus therapy.  

However, I’ve always wanted a career that is people-facing. Audiology was the perfect mix of both!

Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of private settings across Aotearoa, gaining valuable experience with diverse communities. I’m passionate about being kind and empathetic and making hearing care accessible for all New Zealanders.

I joined Resonate because I love what we stand for. ‘Trust through transparency’ is a key value that I believe was largely missing from private audiology. I find Resonates model extremely refreshing, and I believe it allows hearing care to be accessible to more people than ever before. Resonates transparent approach has shed a positive light on the private audiology field and as an Audiologist who cares about the perception of our industry, this honest and accessible model aligns with my values.

Today, the best part of my job is the conversations I have with our customers and making long-lasting changes to people’s lifestyles. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me out exploring new food spots, hiking scenic trails, or going for a run. I’m always up for a good meal, a great view, and an even better conversation.
