Hi, I’m Blythe, the audiologist at Resonate Health Rotorua.
I love helping customers and always aim to deliver the best outcomes for them. I would describe my approach to hearing healthcare as thorough, and I enjoy taking the time to get to know my customers personally to ensure that their hearing healthcare journey is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
I have always wanted to help others, and before joining the audiology industry, I was a practicing medical doctor in the Philippines, specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with additional expertise in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Menopause.
When my family and I began planning to move to New Zealand, I looked into what career paths were available to me. A recommendation from a friend led me down the path of audiology, and I loved the idea of working with people and having a positive impact on their lives through rehabilitation and technology.
Now, I have over 11 years of experience as an audiologist and joined Resonate because I wanted to be part of changing an industry that is heavily focused on sales. I believe hearing healthcare should be accessible, affordable and focus on a person’s overall well-being. I love that Resonate places the customer at the centre of each decision in their healthy ageing journey; it’s a fresh take that’s different to how traditional providers work.
Outside of work, I am a massive introvert and love spending quality time with my family, even if it just means sitting together in one room.
