How do I know if I have an ear infection?

If you have an ear infection, you may feel pain, itchiness or have a watery substance coming out of your ear that may smell bad. Your ear may feel blocked, and you may notice that you do not hear as well as you used to. You should make an appointment with your doctor or hearing specialist so they can check your ears.
