Can I just wear one hearing aid?

To hear well, we need both ears to send signals to the brain. If you have hearing loss in both ears, your hearing specialist will likely recommend you wear two hearing aids. If you only have hearing loss in one ear, then they recommend you wear just one hearing aid in the ear that has the hearing loss.
