Dianne Casimiro

Hi, my name is Dianne, and I’m the Navigator at Resonate Health Whangarei. I’m customer-focused and always strive to ensure that the people I meet have the best experience on their health journey.

After working in nursing for ten years, I found myself looking for a career that allowed me to spend more time closer to home. My heart belongs to healthcare, so joining Resonate was the perfect fit. It is so rewarding to hear how our services help New Zealanders achieve a good quality of life.

I’m particularly interested in the relationship between hearing, cognition, and mental health. Before joining Resonate, I spent three years working as an Activities Coordinator in a Dementia Unit. That experience showed me how dementia not only affects a person's identity, but also their family. That’s one of the reasons I’m committed to raising awareness and teaching people how to take care of their hearing. Having your hearing assessed can feel overwhelming, but you deserve the best quality of life and feel empowered with a better understanding of your wellbeing.

When I’m not at work, I usually spend time with my family. I love cooking and baking for them!  We usually share a meal with our extended family once a week, go to the beach or park on a sunny day, or just stay warm and cosy at home watching a movie.
