The T.V. is up loud at my parent's place. What can I do?

If someone has the T.V. up loud and you find it uncomfortable, you should tell them. Turning the sound up to hear it better is a sign that a person doesn’t hear well, so pointing it out is the first step. You must be kind and supportive as they may not know that it’s up loud. Next, you should recommend a hearing assessment to find out why they don’t hear the T.V. well. You could put subtitles on the T.V. to make it easier for them to understand.
