Hi, I’m Theresa, the Navigator at Resonate Palmerston North.
I love making people feel welcome and truly listened to. As a hearing aid wearer myself, I know how challenging it can be to live with hearing loss and adjust to new technology, and that understanding helps me connect with my customers on a deeper level.
I’ve worked in the hearing health industry for 18 years, and I’ve received several awards for my commitment to customer care. Those achievements mean a lot, but the proudest moment of my career was when someone I’ve helped gave me a big hug and said, “Thank you.”
Over time, I noticed that other hearing providers’ priorities were shifting away from people and focusing more on profit. That went against everything I believe in. When I was given the chance to join Resonate, I knew it was the right move — a way to get back to what I love most: supporting people with genuine care and respect. I haven’t looked back since, and every day I see my team go above and beyond for our customers.
When I was offered a chance to work with Resonate, I realised this was a way to get back to doing what I love, which is putting people first. I haven’t regretted my decision at all! Every day, I’m proud to be part of a team that goes above and beyond to make hearing healthcare accessible and support our customers with genuine care and respect.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to three grown sons and I have a close-knit extended family that I love very much. My little dog, Bobby, is my constant companion. I also enjoy gardening and, for the past two and a half years, I’ve been part of a local Leisure Marching Team which has helped me to meet some wonderful people and make new friends.
